Volt Active Data to Discuss Importance of Data Accuracy and Consistency at Strata + Hadoop World

BEDFORD, Mass. — Volt Active Data, today announced it will be exhibiting at Strata + Hadoop World, taking place Sept. 27-Sept, 29, 2016 at the Javits Convention Center in New York City. Located at Booth #345, the company will demonstrate an IoT sensor data management application and distribute copies of its newest O’Reilly eBook, “Architecting for the Internet of Things.” Additionally, Volt Active Data Founding Engineer John Hugg will present a session on what Volt Active Data learned about data accuracy and consistency from its recent Jepsen test.

WHO: Volt Active Data Founding Engineer John Hugg will discuss Volt Active Data’s internal development, support and testing processes and explore how Volt Active Data has improved over the years. John will conclude his session by diving into third party validation, with a focus on Kyle Kingsbury’s recent Jepsen test, offering an overview of this test and its ramifications.
